Finding builders in Oxfordshire you can genuinely rely on makes all the difference to a project. Sterling Renovations is a family business based in Witney, and our team brings more than 50 years of combined experience to homes across the county.
From house extensions in Carterton and Oxford to kitchen and bathroom refits in Witney and Abingdon, we approach every job the same way: listen carefully, plan properly and build it well. Our directors stay closely involved – Lloyd handles quoting and surveying and visits sites regularly, while Kane runs the day-to-day on site to make sure standards hold from start to finish.
Because nearly all of the work is done by our own tradespeople, you get consistent quality, straightforward communication and a building company that takes ownership of the whole job.

How do I get a quote from your building company?
Just contact us to arrange a site visit. Lloyd, who looks after our quoting and surveying, will assess the project with you and put together a detailed, personalised quote. For new builds we can also price from your architect’s plans.
Do you use your own builders or subcontractors?
Nearly all of the work is carried out by our own team. For specialist trades such as electrics, windows and doors, and decorating, we use a trusted network of subcontractors chosen to match our standards.
How long does a typical building project take?
It depends on the size of the job – a single room can take a few weeks, while a full renovation or extension can run to several months. You’ll get a clear timeframe with your quote, and we keep you updated with regular progress checks throughout.
